The Highline

Running between around 14th and 45th street on 10th Avenue is an old railway line which has been converted into a natural park. Wild flowers have been platned along the traintracks where you can sit and watch New York go by. The railway connect uptown with the meat-packing district where the meat used to be carried down to Chelsea market.
